What gives the best DTG result
DTG ink bonds directly into the fabric fibres. The result depends heavily on the garment and file quality. Follow these rules for a print that looks exactly like your artwork.
- Garment: 100% ring-spun or combed cotton gives the sharpest result. Poly blends above 20% reduce vibrancy.
- Colour: White and light garments give the most vivid colours. Dark garments use a white underbase layer — expect a very slight texture.
- File: PNG with transparent background, RGB colour mode, 300 dpi at print size. Vector SVG also accepted.
- Wash care: Inside out, 30°C, no tumble dry. This doubles the print lifespan.
