Which roller banner size do you need?
Width determines visual impact at a distance. Height is almost always 2000mm. Choose by the space and viewing distance.
800mm wide
- Slim, fits tight spaces
- Reception desks, queue barriers
- Lightest and most portable
- Best for portrait-heavy designs
850mm wide
- Most popular standard size
- Exhibitions, conferences, retail
- Cassette and carry bag included
- Replacement print available
1000mm wide
- Extra presence at exhibitions
- Works as a backdrop panel
- Good for image-heavy designs
- Pairs well as a double set
1500mm wide
- Maximum floor space impact
- Stage backdrops and photo walls
- Replaces two standard banners
- Large venues and trade shows
Set up your roller banner file correctly
A poorly set up file is the most common cause of blurry or cropped banners. Follow these rules and your print will be sharp, edge to edge.
- Resolution: 150 dpi at full size. A banner viewed from 1 to 2 metres does not need 300 dpi — 150 dpi is the standard.
- Bleed: Add 3mm bleed on all sides. Content that reaches the edge without bleed will show a white line after trimming.
- Safe zone: Keep text and logos at least 20mm from the bottom edge. That area disappears into the cassette.
- Colour mode: CMYK. RGB files are converted and colours can shift — especially deep blues and purples.
- File format: PDF (press quality), TIFF or high-res JPG. We also accept AI and InDesign files with fonts outlined.
